Great food

Fun and casual environment food is wonderful pretty crowded on Sundays I always love the service and the food their sticky buns are phenomenal they have a great selection of stuff you can take home as far as pastries and carryout

This is a favorite for my kids. They love the cinnamon rolls that are nearly as big as their heads. The food is always good and the staff is friendly. Plus it holds a piece of history and charm that you can’t quite find anywhere else in the city.

The Cobb Salad is my new favorite! Service is always top-notched. Many options to chose from that will make you happy that you stopped there to eat.

Love this place. It is my goto place to eat.

Great staff. Good selection of food to choose from a t a very good price. I ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy. The medium size which was huge and I ended up sharing it because I couldn't finish it. Over all very good experience. Definitely go check it out if you happen to find one near you.

Great food.... the prices have gone up some and that's kind of unfortunate because I don't want them to price themselves out of business... the bakeries amazing with some of the best pies in Kansas City.

Always have positive experiences when I go to Corner Cafe. Great servers, great food, great atmosphere. Sometimes there's a wait but of course thats to be expected when there is delicious food!

I love this place (no seriously I do😂). While our server was EXTREMELY amazing, I had a different experience this time 🤔. I ordered the 3 piece chicken dinner and our orders came out in a timely fashion. When my food came out, I noticed that there was white meat on my plate; so I notified the server & told him that I would much prefer dark meat. He kindly offered to fix it and that he’d be right back with the dark meat when it was finished and I didn’t have to worry about the 2 white pieces that were on my plate. After 5 minutes went by, he came back with a plate in his hand and explained to me that the manager requested the two white pieces of chicken be returned 👀😄. I said, “Ok, and no problem.” Now, being in food service, I know that there is nothing that they can do with that food but throw it out but🤷‍♂️, ok. I had to wait “28 minutes before the other 2 pieces of chicken came out 🤦‍♂️. So, was that coincidence or punishment 🤔? Management never came out to speak or address the issue (Like most managers do) so I guess that’s how things go🤷‍♂️. Not the best service I’ve ever had but I guess every now and then you can have a bad day. Better luck next time CC👋.

I think that the servers are awesome and Chris is a awesome guy has been going to say my husband and I have been going there for over 30 years and will continue to go there

This is a great family owned and local restaurant. You’ll find lots of frequent visitors. Biscuits and gravy are the best if you can get them early in the morning homemade pies cinnamon rolls are to die for check them out if you’re in the area.

I regularly come buying some food in here. I enjoyed the speedy customer service and well cooked food. Kudos.

This place is horrible as hell bad customer service was very rude to me and my family the food was cold as hell. This is the worse experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant in my life waitress got jazzy with me and started tryin to start a fuss with me and my family.

Everything was fantastic. Had the corner melt and pork tenderloin sandwich with homemade onion rings. Excellent
